Thrive Xcel to Host FREE Summer Showcase Raising Awareness for Disability Pride Month Featuring Celebrity Guests and Innovative Wellness Technologies

Thrive Xcel Wellness & EECP is inviting the entire community to a day of health, inspiration, entertainment, and family fun during the Thrive Xcel Summer Showcase, taking place Saturday, July 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at its Draper location. Admission is FREE, and everyone is welcome.

This year's Summer Showcase carries an even greater purpose by recognizing Disability Pride Month and promoting awareness of innovative wellness options that may improve quality of life for individuals living with disabilities, chronic pain, neuropathy, vascular disease, mobility limitations, and other long-term health conditions. Through education, community engagement, and access to emerging therapies, Thrive Xcel hopes to inspire conversations about healthier, more independent living.

The family-friendly event will feature interactive wellness experiences, live entertainment, local vendors, delicious food, giveaways, and the opportunity to meet three nationally recognized actors whose careers span television, film, and streaming platforms.

Meet Brando Eaton - Actor • Producer • Writer • Voice Over

Brando Eaton has built a career on powerful storytelling. Audiences recognize him from Dexter, CSI, American Horror Story, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager, but today Brando has expanded his career behind the camera as a producer, working alongside Angel Studios and collaborating on projects with industry leaders including Mark Wahlberg, Alan Ritchson, and Willem Dafoe, having produced 18 films in the last two years.

Nick Shakoour - Actor • Authur

Nick Shakoour is an acclaimed Lebanese-American actor best known for his heartfelt portrayal of Zebedee, the father of James and John, in the global hit series The Chosen. His authentic performance has made him a fan favorite, bringing warmth, humor, and depth to one of Scripture's beloved father figures. Before The Chosen, Nick appeared in numerous television and film projects, including State of Affairs, Hawaii Five-0, El Cid, and has voiced characters in Care Bears: Unlock the Magic and the Final Fantasy franchise.
